I am an investor in residential real estate. I have to buy and rent properties. Normally, they sell well, but not now. Currently, I bet everything until the market turns, but as much as I can buy.

Developers to build large areas, houses, roads, etc.

I do not know what to understand the definition of official manuals, but here is how I define the definitions:

Residential real estate investors are those who owns a rental property.

Developed a program - the development of the property - and usually the property to buyers (and owners) and the use of these funds to another project sold to be developed. If the property is sold or not start the project, then the developer can keep the property until the market improves or a suitable investor is found.

An investor investing - offers of money - in exchange for the property.

Developers often try to buy short-term assets, a property, improve focus and sell them for profit (are) a few years. An investor will typically buy the ownership of property and profits to the car for a longer period (several decades) take on.
